Amber and Derek really never cease to surprise me. That jazz routine with the hand choreography was so impressive. There were about 100 hand moves there, which also means 100 opportunities for a mistake, just in the first 4 counts of 8. It’s daring and while they made it look so easy, the concentration required for a performance like that is unbelievable and they were impressive. Her two dances showed off her incredible versatility. She really does have a special flavor to her, and it changes with each dish. Sometimes she’s spicy hot and sometimes she’s creamy and smooth. It’s fascinating to watch how she brings each emotional moment to life and each movement to its fullest potential. She’s got a star quality to her. She moves with style and grace and power and the way she feels the music is exciting. She makes me want to dance and I mean really want to dance. I thank her for that. It’s been a long time since I have watched someone who made me want to dance again.Carrie Ann Inaba’s Parade blog (via msprettyandbabychord)
